Wajih uz Zaman Khan also spelt Wajeeh uz Zaman Khan (born 27 October 1963), is a Pakistani politician and advocate from Oghi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. ==Background and early life== Wajih uz Zaman Khan was born in 1963 to a Swati family of the Mansehra, Hazara region. His late father, Facker uz Zaman Khan, was descended from the upstart family of the so-called 'Khans of Agror',〔Hazara Gazeteer 1884〕 a group of mullahs who had once ruled the Oghi/Agror area and were later deposed in 1888 by the British colonial government,〔Hazara District Gazeteer, 1921, p. 129〕 and his mother, Fauzia Facker uz Zaman, formerly a member of the Senate of Pakistan,〔http://www.senate.gov.pk〕 came from a humble family of Lahore, Punjab.〔( Mother's family pedigree )〕〔 By marriage Wajih uz Zaman is also related to the menial Maneka tribe of Punjab, who are traditional servitors of the Wattu Rajputs〕 After obtaining his basic school education,〔It is claimed that he also studied for quite some years at the Aitchison school and college Lahore, without getting any degree or qualifications. It is alleged this was because he was engaged in dissolute and perverted activities in the boarding house, and was very nearly expelled from there a couple of times.
